Meet Our Staff
MONICA FOUTY Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist NC#17508 Originally from southern California, my family and I moved to North Carolina in 2001. I attended Forsyth Tech and received a degree in Early Childhood education, specializing in Infants, Toddlers, and Twos. I worked in the early childhood field for 10 years. During this time, my mother received her certification and license in Massage Therapy, thus, exposing me to the benefits of massage on not only the human body, but also on the overall health of a person. Learning this is what drove me to pursue my certification in therapeutic massage. I attended the Therapeutic Massage program at Forsyth Tech, where I received my certificate I & II in therapeutic massage. I am certified in Deep tissue, Swedish, Sports, Prenatal, post postpartum, and infant massage. I am excited to be a part of the MAMAW team and share the wonderful benefits of massage with clients and aid them on their journey to wholeness and healing. |

Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist NC#17503 Brandon first developed a love of massage and bodywork in 2010 during his time at Warren Wilson College. Over the years, his initial interest in bodywork has developed into a deep desire to provide a comforting space where others can come to find lasting rejuvenation for body and spirit. He employs several modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, acupressure, cupping, aromatherapy, and various styles of energy work. Offering a holistic approach to wellness that considers the individual as part of a greater whole, he strives to help people find balance in an often chaotic world and give them the opportunity to spend an hour or two in perfect peace. ELIZABETH VANHORN
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist NC#18257 Originally from the small town of Elkin, my interest in a career in healing started about 5 years ago when I graduated high school and began taking healthcare classes at my local community college. I hoped to pursue a more holistic approach to healthcare and began researching massage therapy. I decided to attend CCC&TI, because it offered one of the highest ranking massage therapy programs in NC. I was able to practice on the Appalachian football players, as well as competitors in other athletic events such as Blood, Sweat, and Gears. In August of 2017 I graduated at the top of my class and began pursuing my career as a healer. Three years later I am still loving the path that I chose. I believe in massage as not just a treat, but a treatment. I am now able to offer a wide range of modalities; deep tissue, sports, prenatal, hot stone, cupping, and chair massage. Before each massage I am careful to assess what issues the client is dealing with so I can work specifically to his or her needs. My practice is about utilizing the training I've gained in order to help others. The body has the miraculous ability to heal itself. I wish to share my skills to aid and accelerate in that process.
